Former Employee – worked at TELUS Mobility
Pros – good benefits package
good experience dealing with difficult customers/situations
hone skills with dealing with public
good training opportunities when time allowed it
Cons – all shifts determined by seniority, even if others transferred from other depts
no flexibility with changing shifts unless requested months in advance
working at-home is a mixed blessing, still must deal with strict shift
must work during holidays unless at company close to 10 years
Advice to Senior Management – management should keep their word on deals made with employees
the phrase 'if technical issues didn't happen, this dept wouldn't be needed' is not a good excuse for issues with telus network that have persisted for years (ie receiving text, incorrect data charges)
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
