Pros

Probably the only big pro- the people around you. Young and fun bunch to have around you.
Benefits are good, though the usual round of cuts have been flowing through the system.
Work life balance.

Cons

Lack of career growth. Opportunities are non existent at middle management level. Arbit policies e.g span of control further limit the growth oppty
Overall engagements levels are at nadir. Salary freeze, layoffs, Incentives cut have really impacted morale and engagement at program manager/specialist level.
Manager quality is really suspect. I would guess only 50% of the managers are really worth their positions.
Once the market situation on employment improves, i suspect that attrition rates will increase significantly.
