I have been working at TELUS full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Great company to work for. Full paid training, more than fair salary and benefits, employee discounts etc. Good team, good relationship with management. A lot of opportunities for career development.

Cons

Like in any big company, there are many things to "repair". Was working for another telecommunications giant on east cost before and can compare. TELUS wins big time.

    Pros

Flexibility, conditions, development, teamwork, innovation, improvements... Are a few reasons why I work at TELUS
Focus is on the customers, always!

    Cons

No comment, can't think of non personal cons.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Share the company vision and make sure to impose it on all employees, all! Important visions do not make it all the way to working first level staff members

    I worked at TELUS

    Pros

Good casual culture and they even encourage you to work from home. Good to work at for a short term period (3-5 years max)

    Cons

Management tends to pick favorites. They pay less than the competitors and they try to string along employees and avoid giving raises or promotions for as long as they can.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to offer the money and career opportunities to all deserving employees
