I have been working at TIAA-CREF

    Pros

A good training program, everyone there is very willing to help their coworkers. For the most part we have friendly participants.

    Cons

Slow systems to work on. Taking PTO during holidays is a struggle. Some of the training is a bit overkill,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please update our systems. The company wants us to reduce our average talk time when they give us agonizing slow programs to work on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

-Management should be forced to take management classes; everyone can not lead.
-Managers should understand what their employees actual do before they make decisions.
-It should be mandatory that employees rate their managers and the evaluation should be tied to their bonuses and raises.
