I have been working at TIAA-CREF full-time for more than a year

Pros

The base salary, bonus structure, retirement contributions/match and the paid time off are top of the line in the financial services industry

Cons

It's a growing company and the support staff for the wealth advisors could be more robust. The technology also has some catch up to do

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't look at the support staff as a drain on the bottom line but as crucial to the success of the front line WMA's.

I have been working at TIAA-CREF full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

We are an organization and not a corporation. Therefore, employee benefits are attractive. Also, I think we are striving to become more inclusive at different levels.

    Cons

The focus has been to change the direction that the organization was heading. As a result, other things get lost like recognizing and valuing employees at the lower end of our organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't just take information from direct reports as being handed a gold plate. Try random outreach to lower level employees.
