Pros

Being an enterprise software company, TIBCO is reinventing itself through innovative product. It has its group of talent people, as well as people just waiting for retirement. Overall the company has its growth, but won't at the speed compare to a startup.

Cons

Not all processes are well defined.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Could get more seasoned executives. Most of them are promoted internally.

    Pros

    The money is decent. Many of the people are brilliant and dedicated.

    Cons

    The brilliant people are working stupidly long hours on triage and bandaids and fixes while the core functionality is not improved upon. Strong tendency to over-promise and under-deliver to clients. Too many new sales with too many customizations for the existing staff to handle with any quality.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The solution is not to hire more support staff, but to fix the core product. This company was a startup and was purchased by TIBCO and is expected to grow to support huge major new clients with many millions of customers. The platform can't handle it.
