I have been working at TIBCO Software full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Remarkably flexible working environment. Really good people to work with and those are the ones that make it worth wile. The company is willing to take technology risks.

    Cons

To keep the markets 'happy' they have at times rather draconian cost controls. A follower in most places they compete in. Upper management is more reactive than proactive. Very tightly staffed, more work than people to do it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Turn over the reins to people who are experienced in managing a mid sized company. Ignore Wall St. Focus on your employees first as they are what makes the company work. The focus on putting 'good' numbers to the street is counter productive. You will start to drive away your best and brightest people.
