Pros

The benefits are pretty good.

Cons

They don't seem to choose people in their employment to move up. they hire from outside.

Advice to Management

If they gave people that have been with the company for a while the chance to move up they would have more loyal associates

    Pros

Company comprehensive benefits are good if you are full-time. (health care, 401k, sick time, vacation) Room to grow with experience and education. 20% Discount Days Flexible if you have to change your schedule or take extended time off.

    Cons

Shortage of workers at times. Sometimes you have to work a different way when one manager is on duty from the other. Pay could be better for the range of responsibilities of supervisors. Only guaranteed 30 hours for full time.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more continuity with the managers. Also listen to your workers ideas. Just because it is different does not mean it is wrong or bad.

    Pros

Alright starting salary with room for improvement. Very friendly managers who care about you. Associates are very friendly.

    Cons

Granted I am a student who can work nights on the weekend, but it seems like I'm closing every single Friday and Saturday and cannot find enough time to get out to the bars with friends.

    Advice to Management

Allow your associates to at least drink water on the sales floor. I can understand soda or coffee or the like, but no water without a doctor's note can lead to dehydration, and during allergy season, some associates need water more than ever to avoid getting physically sick (me included)
