“Good for a flatbed job”
I worked at TMC Transportation
Pros – Good equipment, Great home time, Will get you home when requested, paid holidays, good benefits, company will train you well on flatbed securing and safety
Cons – Always trying to get over on drivers, no fast or pre pass, must pay up front, good luck getting reimbursed everytime for tolls, a constant battle trying to get money back for something that shouldn't have to be put up by the driver to begin with. Company has a policy against toll roads, but will authorize it in some cases. Be sure to document via Qualcomm etc.
Advice to Senior Management – Quit being petty with your experienced drivers and maybe you will retain some of them. I don't understand companies who operate like this! How can it possibly be cost affective to constantly recruit new drivers?
