The professional foundry manager for R&D department.

Technical Manager (Current Employee) Hsin-hu (Taiwan)

ProsThe engineers' quality and sense of semiconductor area are very strong and most engineers are proactive and willing to learn new things. It is very comfortable to be a manager or technical leader to lead the project.

ConsThe job loading and stress are very high for a manager level to handle a project. The endless job assignments are always coming to your desk, no matter day or night. There is very few time to consider other things, such as family, friends and social relationship.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't hire manager who worked for foreign country for a long time and don't understand the culture of Taiwan and TSMC.
