I worked at TSMC as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

Good working environment. Good intern pay in Taiwan. Excellent security system. Excellent collaboration experience. Kind engineers and managers. Nice welfare system.

Cons

Bad employee cafeteria. Not allowed to bring cell phone with storage and photograph system. The traffic around the site was terrible. Nothing's around the site, too.

Former Employee - Technician in Shanghai, Shanghai (China)

I worked at TSMC as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Many opportunities, for example e-learning or training course, to learn. There are also many chances to practice what you just learn.

    Cons

Too much work. The wage is just OK. But considering the loading of work, the average rate by hour is not so attractive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Good for freshman.
