I have been working at TVO Ontario as a contractor for more than 3 years

    Pros

The people at TVO are true professionals who know their jobs to the last detail. The working environment is pleasant and the salary is good.

    Cons

TVO's management is driven by politics, not a desire for improvement. Managers are hired and fired for political reasons, and the policies they implement are poorly considered, poorly planned and poorly communicated. TVO is in a constant state of restructuring that seems to have no clear goal or implementation strategy. Consequently, rank-and-file employees are often given conflicting, inconsistent instructions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Changes should be driven by a desire to improve the quality of the product or the efficiency of the workers, not just for the sake of change.

    Disapproves of CEO
