I worked at TXU Energy full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The pay was great and the hours were flexible. Met some very nice people along the way.

    Cons

Contractors are not valued. I was set to go Contract to Permanent but my supervisor was Satin's wife. Nothing was good enough. I worked hard and did everything I was suppose to do, but she did not like me because she was not involved in my hiring, she used every method in the book to intimidate me and get me to quit, bullying and all. The recruiting department is a mess and several people left in the short time I was there. The Director allowed all of this to go on!!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to lower level employees. Organization is key and this department was chaotic and unorganized. All departments need to value their employees. Provide training manuals for new employees. Do not bring Managers back that had negative impact in the past!!!
