Talbots – “don't ask for time off”

Pros

Okay place to work for retail, a little better pay than most. Very professional. Very customer service oriented. Overall a pretty good place to work.

Cons

My feet hurt so bad when I worked there, only a 30 min lunch if you worked over a six hour shift, and only a fifteen min break if you worked under that. I left Talbots because I asked for two days off three months in advance and the manager said no because ONE other person had asked those days off, but there were about seven other people available to work.

Advice to Senior Management

Manage your employees shifts better, and don't be such a stickler for the ones that ask for time off. Just overall treat the employees better.
