Overtly structured, no room for individuality, but great transition from agency to internal

I worked at Talent2 full-time for more than a year

Pros

They try to engage, quarterly awards, one family sort of stuff. They also have some great clients they work with, BankWest, American Express, Telstra. So you can build a name for yourself

Cons

Although the try, they rarely succeed, the overtly structured, controlled environment stifles instead of encourages, and the KPI's and SLA's they commit you to a ridiculous. You end up feeling like a dairy cow on the end of an automated milker. The turn over is very high and the support from head office non existent

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give your people some room to breathe, let them own their role, continue to try and build them but give them a reason to come to work every day.

For a company that is about multiplying the power and productivity of people- sure doesn't care about it's own people.

    Pros

Less political than that of bigger listed corporation but no company is without politics!

    Cons

Culture and values all skewed. You're just a number in this firm. Comp and Benefits are minimal and even if you have historically done well in the firm, the moment you let them know that you are looking to leave- they will turn their backs on you and disregard all the years you've put in the firm, even if you've out performed and consistently brought in money. If you're close to management they will let you stay there without billing a cent and the pay of individuals will vary even if you are doing the same role. This company is not transparent when it comes to business decisions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do as you preach in your motto to clients- if it's about investing in peole what makes a difference if it's your own people.
