I have been working at Tallgrass Talent Group part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Usually able to complete assignments when you would like to do them as long as you get them uploaded on time. Assignments vary. You aren't doing the same thing over and over again. Keeps it interesting. Hourly pay rate is better than most merchandising companies.

Cons

Travel expectations are out of line at times. Availability of work is too sporadic. We can go weeks without an assignment or be bombarded with them all at once. No annual review. No benefits for part-time employees that I know of.

Advice to Management

I've never met anyone in upper management and have only spoken with my supervisor once.

I have been working at Tallgrass Talent Group part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Requires Self Management. If you don't need to work with others or can self manage your time and efforts, this will work for you. Paychecks/deposit are much more regular and timely now.

    Cons

Worked with them for over 18 months when they were strictly Sunflower Staffing. Merge has been and remains to be mass confusion.

    Advice to Management

I am not sure I can give any, I never know who is "in charge" as the so many of come and gone because of the disorganization. One thing though, you need to train the state/region coordinators to at least respond to people in the field. Often when I ask a procedural question I got No response of any kind.

I have been working at Tallgrass Talent Group part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good second job or part time for a college student.

    Cons

Downgrade in pay from 13 to 11 dollars. Slow pay. Monotonous work with no chance to move up in the company. A few of the EFs (event facilitator), who makes sure you have your products, acts like they are the boss. They are there to FACILITATE.

    Advice to Management

A chance to move up in the company. Bump the pay back up to 13 dollars.
