Pros

Fun projects, smart people, flexible work environment.

Cons

The old engineer-centric culture under FSG in the Midwest is being subverted into a Dilbertesque parody of itself. If you can keep HR and upper management off your back this can still be a great place to work.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good people make a good company. You are driving away talent and inspiring the rest of us to insipid performance due to generally treating your "greatest resource" as just that: another resource to be exploited.

    Pros

    Great group of people who try and comply with the wants of management.

    Cons

    The purchase of the company by Boeing turned it into a split entity. Not having the full support or access to much of what Boeing has as a company, Tapestry employees are left to suffer the whims of a big company and many people are working in fear of the loss of their livelihood.

    Get control of your ship.

    Pros

    Employees are great, dedicated, and willing to help each other. The company is well run. It is growing and there are opportunities in many different locations worldwide.

    Cons

    Depending on the position and the contract that you support, the travel can be frequent. Some field support personnel will travel well over 50% of the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continue doing what you are doing. Expand the customer base beyond the military.
