I worked at Target

Pros

The benefits package that was offered pretty good. It included dental, health care, relocation assistance and child care. Time off is accumulated each paycheck and as team leader you can take up to two weeks off at a time.

Cons

The drawbacks were that the job is very time consuming, the black out periods for vacation last from august to february and the only holidays the store is closed are: thanksgiving, christmas and easter.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice would be to balance the shifts. One person should not close every night and holiday nor should the same people be opening all the time due to availability.

    I worked at Target

    Pros

Fun atmosphere. Upbeat and hip. The job was the same as anywhere else, but the target culture was fun. I found a lot of the policies to be cumbersome, but the overall feeling of the store was always a nice place to walk in to.

    Cons

It was frustrating that so many upper level decisions were made by non healthcare professionals. Sometimes you felt you were beating your against the wall with all the stupid thIngs they wanted you to do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let pharmacist make decision that impact the pharmacy. Non healthcare professional just do t get the red tape.
