Pros

1. Promotion Opportunity 2. Work/Life Balance in the Retail World 3. Transfer Opportunities (Located across the country) 4. Competitive Salary in the Retail World

Cons

1. Work/Life Balance - If you don't monitor this, you can get burnt out 2. Benefits - They're okay, but I think they could be much better 3. Holding team members accountable - Too many chiefs around corrective actions. A lot of talk with nothing getting approved.

Advice to Management

1. Let STL's have more power in the choosing of their executives. They are the ones who have to work them day in and day out. 2. Develop non-adjustable templates for writing corrective actions to better hold team members accountable. 3. Take a harder look at benefits across the board, they need to improve.

    Pros

Be prepared to work lots of hours and every other weekend. Pay per hour works out to be in lower 20's. You will feel a lot of pressure to make the numbers, but they give you the tools to do it. People are great, but not a lot of work/life balance.

    Cons

Learning to manage and motivate minimum wage employees is very difficult but valuable!

    Pros

Room to move up Store employees create good working environment

    Cons

Too many politics in promotions Hire outside of the company before inside Upper management put into positions they have no experience in Quality of overall job experience is too varied depending on your supervision chain, no consistency in management

    Advice to Management

CARE MORE ABOUT YOUR EMPLOYEES. THEY ARE PEOPLE TOO. Put more value on experience and work ethic than on a brand new college graduate. Experience goes a lot further than a piece of paper.
