I have been working at Target

    Pros

The Team culture is fantastic. Great environment for students (especially those in college). They work with your schedule which makes balancing school and work much easier.

    Cons

Every store has favorites. You just have to work hard and show management that you have something to offer.

    Haven't really had any problems.

I have been working at Target

    Pros

    1. Promotion Opportunity
    2. Work/Life Balance in the Retail World
    3. Transfer Opportunities (Located across the country)
    4. Competitive Salary in the Retail World

    Cons

    1. Work/Life Balance - If you don't monitor this, you can get burnt out
    2. Benefits - They're okay, but I think they could be much better
    3. Holding team members accountable - Too many chiefs around corrective actions. A lot of talk with nothing getting approved.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Let STL's have more power in the choosing of their executives. They are the ones who have to work them day in and day out.
    2. Develop non-adjustable templates for writing corrective actions to better hold team members accountable.
    3. Take a harder look at benefits across the board, they need to improve.
