I have been working at Target part-time for more than 5 years

Pros

You are able to easily speak with your managers and they will respond and address the issue without fear of retaliation. Friendly environment. Easily able to be cross trained and promoted if you work hard.

Cons

They usually have problems and delays rolling out new ideas from upper management. We don't have user friendly software, so training new employees is difficult when most of our duties requires the use of the computer. There are not enough available work hours for full time employment.

I worked at Target part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Working overnight was good in that your supervisors and coworkers were approachable. The work environment was such that there's work to be done but your superiors aren't constantly looking over the shoulder. Not having to deal with customers for the vast majority of your shift is also a plus.

    Cons

The overnight hours are rough, the work can be strenuous, and, in general, Target's zealous anti-union attitude can be a bit offputting to some people. As it's a big team and you spend most of the time attending to your own duties, standing out can be difficult and as such you risk falling through the cracks as far as promotions are concerned.
