I worked at Target full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

There is a great opportunity for career growth. There also many options if you get bored with what you are doing and want a change.

Cons

If you are working on the store side, you will be working a lot of weekends. Also, during the holiday season (Nov-Jan) you may have to work 60-75 hour weeks with no change in pay.

I worked at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The Pay was very good and there is a young ambitious feel to the company. They strive aggressively for growth.

    Cons

It is an "up or out" environment and there are very few people over the age of 45 in the organization. While there is a tremendous amount of feedback, it is rarely face to face, but usually by tattling to management. If you thrived through high-school popularity games, you will feel at home at Target HQ.

I have been working at Target full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

great life-work balance (stable work hours), competitive pay.

    Cons

Sad vacation time : 2 weeks per year. Not much attention to assets/work environment for creative groups. Creatives can only aspire to be "seniors", not much creative growth opportunities after that level, unless implies management roles.

    Advice to Management

Increase vacation time every year in the company (one or 2 days more per year). Invest in workspace /equipment for creative groups: current PC screens for creatives are FAR of a standard in the creative community, cubicles with zero sun light are NOT fostering creativity.
