I have been working at Target

Pros

Flexible place, not as bad as other retail industries, pretty loyal to longtime employees.

Cons

Long hours, the retail industry in general can be hard, but that's no fault of Targets.

I worked at Target full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great upward mobility. Challenged to develop and give the best you have to offer.

    Cons

If you are not good at assimilating to culture may not have a good experience. Some people have been let go and treated as criminals, i.e. locked out of offices and belongings handed to them in HR.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If someone seems to be having a difficult time, try to coach individual on strengths and goals so that they leave with a platform to springboard from.
