Pros

-Available hours
-Great co-TMs
-Opportunities to meet other people
-Job promotion opportunities

Cons

-Sometimes hours aren't freely available, so you'll have to speak up
-Hard working, dedicated TMs aren't rewarded for their efforts
-Have to show some leadership skills and results to be considered for Team Lead or higher
-ETLs have a high school clique mentality, meaning you have to fit in
-Decent pay

Advice to Management

I applaud the Team Leaders and ETLs for running their stores properly. However, how much is too much when some of the TM feel tired, mad or burned out? Give more opportunities to those who want to work and/or advance. Calm down and help out when your teams are backed or behind. Proper team cooperation can go a long way around.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

-Meaningful experience... You are treated just like an executive-in-training.
-Great company culture and ALL employees embrace and live it!
    -Great training and learning opportunities
-Got to tour the distribution center, go on volunteer projects, and other experiences
-They match you with a mentor who will help you leverage your strengths while balancing your opportunities. High regard for professional development.
-Warm welcome from the ETLS (They had a bio and a picture of us in the breakroom of our store so the team members would know who we were)
-You introduced as a leader in the building from the beginning

    Cons

-Internship should focus on TOTAL store operations then focus on the area they wish to learn
-The "operational review" at the end was more of a formality instead of a meaningful experience
-No set timeline on what you should have learned and when... A checklist or calendar would have been helpful

    Advice to Management

-Have a better project at the end of the internship
-Have a checklist, manual, etc. to compare learnings to a standard of what we should be learning
