I worked at Target full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Constant reviews on performance / salary. Fair Management. Good work environment. Stable company

    Cons

If you are not interested in moving up, they will weed you out. Ive seen it time and time again. If you are looking to "bed down" into a stagnant position, you will not last forever. They want people who are will to grow the company and if they see you as different to that model, they will weed you out.

Fast. Fun. Friendly. Not always open/honest about movement.

I have been working at Target full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - fantastic culture
    - lots of fun
    - changes to better company
    - opportunities for development
    - recognition

    Cons

    - changes with no tools to help implement. Just figure out how to improve it all on your own.
    - will tell you many different things about movement, but you can't believe it until you are actually there.
    - make you jump through hoops
    - trying to work faster and improve with no improvement of tools or technology. Distribution centers very out of date surprisingly.
    - overnight shifts

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be willing to spend money on updates and improvements that will make operations smoother and performance better.
