Pros

Supervisors were fair and easy to work with in this particular location. Culture rewarded hard work and a positive attitude.

Cons

With the company being so large, team atmosphere could be lacking on some occasions. Consistency among managers was lacking as well.

I have been working at Target part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The environment is clean and great, guests and team members are nice, job gets easier as you go along, close to home, good hours that are provided, good company to work for, many opportunities available

    Cons

You have to be moving around a lot on your feet, so wear comfortable shoes. The expectations are quite high, so do not slack off. You have to move fast and they really emphasize red cards

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's a good company to work for

I have been working at Target full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    -Work in teams
    -Competitive Pay and good benefits
    -2 weeks paid vacation
-Cutting age technology and software programs

    Cons

-Work schedule. Nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
-In recent years company has been recreating itself in order to survive the economy, but in doing so has increase the executive level turnover, resulting in a relatively inexperienced work force operating their stores.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to explore new avenues of being competitive without sacrificing store operations. If need be district level support partners should be assigned a store to assist with the increasing productivity demands.
