I have been working at Target full-time

    Pros

The overall benefits package is nice. They have deals with other companies for discounts, they give you 10% off most items in store. The pay is average until you get into the executive level.

    Cons

There seems to be no consistency in how team members are treated. On a corporate level, they say all of the right things, however on the store level the treatment can be wildly different. The store managment can be so focused on being profitable that they only schedule the least amount of people possible and want them to do the work of a team twice the size. When it doesn't get done, team members are pulled aside for "chats" about their work ethic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Corporate never makes unannounced visits. Any time they come, the store is cleaned up and made to look better then it actually is. I would like to see these people come in plain clothes and just watch for awhile. Also, there are still alot of gray areas in their best practices.
