Pros

Great work community. Coworkers are friendly and easy to work with. Manager treats you as a human being

Cons

The pay is barely over minimum wage, but room for advancement is there. Sometimes work load is large, which means you'll be having a busy night

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train team leads, and LODS to consider employee idea more thoughtfully. Sometimes the people at the very bottom of the company will have an idea that could revolutionize or at least improve an aspect of the business.

I worked at Target full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The company and management team provide ample opportunities to move up within the organization. They offer mentoring and interview training. They legitimately care for each of their team members. The company offers great benefits, healthcare, 401K, and business to business company discounts. Team members come to work with a great attitude and are wonderful at helping each other.

    Cons

The blackout vacation days are a bit excessive around the holiday season. It does not allow for family vacations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would not be so quick to move newly promoted staff. Some of the best team members are groomed and promoted to new positions, which is wonderful, but then they are often relocated to another store. It can really change the culture of the store they leave behind.
