Pros

Very analytic, data based culture.

Cons

Sr. Managment Club. You're either in or you're out.

Advice to Management

Go beyond the cycle of hiring and then laying off. Look for ways to train, evaluate and organize staff. Lots of waste in administrative positions, especially accounting.

    Pros

    1. Flexible time depending on what group you are in.
    2. Better medical benefits.
    3. Pet friendly.

    Cons

    1. Sub-par 401K program.
    2. So called Summer Time is supposed to be for all groups but it is a lie by upper management. Not all groups get to utilize it.
    3. Very high turn over of employees and contractors.
    4. There is no effort to retain good and trained employees. Their attitude is like "we can go hire someone new" and continue business as usual.
    5. Very top heavy company. There are more queen bees per each worker bee than any other company I ever worked for. If you can get in the management club you are set for a couple of decades but if not you are out. There are a few VPs and directors that are mere paper pushers. They are there for years just because they belong to somebody's camp. If they lose the dead weight in the management and hire some good worker bees this company would be rated a little better. Time and again projects were under estimated in scope and time and client services made unrealistic promises to the clients. If you are a worker bee watch out, this place can work you to death.

    Advice to Management

Lose the dead weight in management that has been sitting there for years and replace them with people that actually do the job.
Do accurate project estimations and good timely designs and don't make unrealistic promises to your clients.
Develop and maintain processes and standards.
Retain good employees. You can easily replace employees but not the quality and company specific expertise.
Reduce power politics in upper management.
