Current Employee - Senior Administrator in Richards Bay (South Africa)

I have been working at Tata Steel full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Flat structure, lovely people, good corporate culture
    Lovely offices

    Cons

Corporate culture not ingrained in personnel.
Not all persons are fully employed (not enough to keep them busy)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

1)Identify problems between South Africans and expats and address them.
    2) There are employees (lower grade) in your employ who monitor things and save the company money without being told to do this - recognize them and elevate them accordingly.
3)Top management should make themselves more frequently visible in all areas of the organization.
