    Pros

Incredible experience learning first hand about educational issues and teaching.

    Cons

Incredibly challenging being a new teacher, learning as you go, and getting certified at the same time.

    Pros

The vibe is definitely hardworking - leaning towards type A - but still cool and collected, so it makes for a trusting environment. It's also work you can feel good about, has a strong feedback system, diverse, very very flexible working conditions at National HQ and supportive management. It's the gold standard for nonprofits, but be prepared to work long and hard.

    Cons

You might end up making less than similar positions in corporate America.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes the sheer amount of flexibility made some teams feel disconnected from each other.
