Pros

- Positive outlook and relentless dedication by staffers and organization to further their mission - Always people available to give support or help if requested - Very reflective organization that values feedback and improvement at almost every level

Cons

- Expectations seem daunting at first - Not great a communication - Training will not fully prepare you for teaching, but nothing really could

Advice to Management

Continue to be genuinely reflective and react to how corps members are feeling and doing - also, continue to try and connect the work of corps members so that the feeling of a movement can become more palpable

    Pros

Gain great experience with organization and leadership, work with like minded peers, is a prestigious organization.

    Cons

Straining work, little managerial support, have separate expectations with local district.

    Advice to Management

The teachers need more support and guidance in the classroom with a lower faculty to corps member ratio.

  2. High work, low pay, not family-friendly

    Pros

They are helping me procure my teaching certificate. There are not many pros here, to be perfectly honest, not enough for a twenty word minimum! Not a great place to work.

    Cons

Work 70 hours a week and it's still not enough, extra requirements through TFA and U of M, as if the requirements of teaching high school math were not enough. Expected to be available with no notice whatsoever.
