I worked at Team Detroit full-time

    Pros

Summer Fridays, workplace benefits, cafeteria, very bright people, very cool work, and the best clients in town

    Cons

There is no "team" in Team Detroit. It's every man for himself. People are unwilling to make hard decisions, because those who make decisions end up getting the finger pointed at them. No reviews, no clear communication around team vision. Upper management is distant, middle management is micro-managerial and unwilling to stand up for their employees. Constant unproductive meetings all day long... too many people, too little vision, too much politics.

    Advice to Management

Just because you have a great client and cool events doesn't mean it is a "privilege" to work there. If you want to stop leaking people... reward, recognize, grow, invest in your current employees. And put an end to the poisonous anti-team culture.
