Pros

Good management, clear goals, growth company

Cons

Small HQ departments like HR and accounting.

Advice to Management

Team has an opportunity to completely refresh it's image to it's employees. Focus on culture more! Could be a very hip company to work for with some improvements to benefits/perks. It would help to make sure everyone's on the same page with vision and mission--make us want to be part of the bigger picture.

Slow to fulfill invoices, flippant and unsatisfactory responses to questions.

    Pros

Recruiters can connect you with interesting clients.

    Cons

TeamPeople uses a contract that stipulates they have 45 days to fulfill invoices, and they wait until the 44th day to strike a cheque. When asked why it takes the full length of time, the give empty apologies and dismissive explanations. After several weeks they can completely forget about you and miss their 45 day deadline.

    Advice to Management

Your freelancers are your only asset, convince your accountants and recruiters to treat them like it.

    Pros

They find some good work for you with interesting clients. They provide fast payment for you as long as you invoice in timely manner..

    Cons

They seem to forget about you after some time of working freelance for them. Sometimes let small things slip through the cracks.

    Advice to Management

You should always be checking in on you freelancers, they do bring in your salary and they are not disposable.
