    I worked at Teavana

    Pros

Other than free tea and being a part of SBUX. None.

    Cons

The management can treat you as badly as theyd like and get away with it. Manager has broken so many rules and HR does not care. The company does not care about job security. They do not care. Terrible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Care about the faces of your company more.

I have been working at Teavana full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Very good health benefits. We get our Starbucks mark out monthly. We get to try out a variety of teas.

    Cons

Upper management is constantly calling you, even on your days off. Teavana employees are treated like second class citizens. Starbuck employees can transfer to Teavana freely while Teavana employees must quit their job in order to apply for a Starbucks position. Vacant Teavana positions are being filled by Starbucks employees only. Training is poor. There is no positive feedback given by upper management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat employees with respect and learn to give more positive feedback. Take the time to effectively train upper management so that they in turn can train their subordinates.

    No opinion of CEO
