Pros

Great people who are motivated to make a difference. Turnover rate lower than at other firms that I've been at. Definitely areas to improve in because they are a smaller firm but liked the personable and friendly interaction all the way from the CEO down to the administrators.

Cons

Lower starting salary with constant change in process which made it hard to keep up with. Company needs to invest in technology for their ATS.

Advice to Management

Focus on sales and bringing in long-term capable clients. Use competition to help improve your own recruiting processes. Invest in technology to improve overall efficiency.

    Pros

    The upper management at TechLink is very committed to their staff, their consultants, and their clients. As an employer, they are passionate about working to ensure that all employees are not only satisfied but happy, committed, successful, and productive in their jobs even though that message seems lost when filtered through the ranks. I think that management really strives to act in the best interests of their workforce, because they recognize that a committed and happy group of employees can perform best for their clients, ensuring an excellent experience for all involved.

    Cons

    Though it is certainly possible to be successful at TechLink, it does require a significant commitment and sometimes a certain type of personality. As in all sales teams, big personalities can make big sales (but also big conflict). Metrics are used, the technology resources should be updated, and a recognition that sometimes "call call call" isn't the answer. A more strategic plan, clearly communicated, would go much further toward progress than the aimless "bang it out" plan.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on the ground up. Happy staff make better producers.
