Thomson ist ein sehr internationales Unternehmen, dass die Möglichkeit bietet, mit Menschen aus vielen Ländern und Kulturen zusammen zu arbeiten. Wer sich für Multimediavertrieb interessiert, wird hier interessante Tätigkeitsfelder finden. Die meisten Manager unterstützen aktiv die Entscheidungen der Mitarbeiter bezüglich des Verhältnisses von Arbeit und Privatleben. Bei Thomson arbeiten viele hochqualifizierte Leute, wodurch sich viele Chancen für das Unternehmen eröffnen.

Thomson is a very international company, offering opportunities to work with people from many countries and cultures. Anyone who is interested in multimedia distribution will find interesting fields to work in. Most managers are actively supporting employees' decisions when it comes to work-life balance. Thomson has a lot of highly qualified people, a fact opening many good opportunities for the company.

Cons

Thomson scheint es momentan an einer klaren Vision und mittelfristigen Zielen - von den üblichen finanziellen abgesehen - zu fehlen, wodurch man sich nur schwer mit dem Unternehmen identifizieren kann. Die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeitern ist ziemlich ungenau und hinterlässt stets den Eindruck, dass keine klare Vorstellung von der Zukunft vorhanden ist.

Thomson appears currently not to have a clear vision and mid-term objectives, apart from the usual financial ones, what makes it difficult to identify oneself with the company. Communication towards employees is pretty vague and always leaves the impression of having no clear idea of the future.

Advice to Management

Die Geschäftsführung von Thomson sollte sich vor dem Handeln über die Ziele im Klaren sein. Sobald diese mittelfristigen Ziele und die Vision festgelegt sind, muss man diese auch seinen Mitarbeitern ausreichende kommunizieren!

Thomson's senior management must figure out where the company is going before taking any action. Once senior management has figured out where to go, it is absolutely necessary to properly communicate the mid-term object and the vision to the employees.

    I have been working at Technicolor as an intern

    Pros

    Knowledgeable team that is very helpful. Don't personally notice anyone not pulling their weight. I have learned a lot in a short amount of time.

    Cons

    Lots of panic moments. Seems like every other day an emergency comes down from upper management that requires everyone drop what they're doing.

    Advice to Management

    None. I am not in a position to give advice to management at this stage of my career.
