I worked at Technip full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The company provides good working environment for employees. Technical and non-technical supports that are efficiently managed. Colleagues are accommodating and helpful in sharing knowledge and expertise.

    Cons

Not enough senior engineers to provide support for the junior engineers, thus juniors are left on their own, which will take its toll on the quality of the results.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fill up more senior level engineers, focus on quality than quantity

Former Employee - Instrumentation Engineer in Barcelona (Spain)
Former Employee - Instrumentation Engineer in Barcelona (Spain)

I worked at Technip full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

No experience is required on engineering, anyway it is always welcomed.

    Cons

As a start you get the minimum wage that is driven by the spanish agreement of engineering offices, that means you get the same wage of anyone else on the country while you live and work in one of the most expensive areas in Spain.

Career development was really not covered by the company in Spain.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Working engineers should not battle with sales engineers about the hours required for a project to be accomplished, if anyway sales engineers should battle with the costumers for the hours for a project to be accomplished with a high quality standar that is expected from that firm.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
