    Pros

They do have a competitive advantage in the marketplace with the minority certification

    Cons

lack of support absence of training lack of communication We did not have technicaal support in our branch which gave us a definite disadvantage. We were in a hiighly competitive market and now having the sales engineering available on sales calls made us look weak. We would rely on other branches (when they were available) for conference calls and prepare SOW's and proposals. Also, there is virtually no technical training for the sales staff. You are required to learn the specifications of the products you want to sell on your own time. Very difficult without sales engineering to answer questions.

    Advice to Management

The corporate model is a series of franchises with no cohesive ties between branches. Basically a sale rep must carve out their own identity and branding in their marketplace
