Current Employee – been working at Tektronix full-time for more than a year

Pros – Well run with very experienced, competent management.
Worldwide presence and growing rapidly in Asia.
Provide sufficient training to learn how to effectively use the renowned Danaher Business System.
Collaborative management team with very little politics.

Cons – The company sets very demanding objectives that it expects its managers to focus on and meet as close as possible. So the stress level can be too high for some.
As is typical with a company this size, the management structure is matrixed. So you need to know how to manage conflicts between your solid-line boss and your dotted-line boss.

Advice to Senior Management – Set objectives that are certainly stretch objectives, but still obtainable with utmost effort and breakthrough initiatives. And keep the stretch objectives to just one or two each year.
