    Pros

    Great campus, some good talent

    Cons

Too rooted in the past. No innovation happening. Some people who had been successful in the past kind of dominate the company. There is no possible way they will update their software to modern world. The technology looks like crappy old software in the 90s.

    Advice to Management

Try to be innovative. You are too stuck with old fashioned technology.

  2. Not much room for growth

    Pros

    Decent pay
    OK benefits
    OK work-life balance

    Cons

    Little to no training
Managers are not interested in developing the skills of their direct-reports
    Lack of collaboration
    Lack of career advancement
More focussed on financial and efficiency goals than product quality
Heavyweight procedures in place to track problems that are somewhat pointless and mindless

    Advice to Management

Short term goals are not everything. You need to have a long term strategy. Quit letting sales run the business strategy. Remember Fiorina at HP or Scully at Apple? Improve collaboration. You need to be willing to pay the big bucks to retain the top talent!
