Pros

There is a good variety of interesting projects and products and there are many well-qualified engineers and researchers. Also, there is a culture of technical progress and innovation. Benefits are satisfactory (medical/dental, 401K, pension plan). Employee communications and training are highly promoted.

Cons

The company has not been doing very well since 2000 and compensation has been kept to low-to-mid market levels since. Promotions have been more scarse than in other companies. The overall company strategy has not fulfilled expectations yet although the prospects and recent wins are encouraging. Although there has been much effort in re-aligning business units there is still a lot of room for improving inter-BU coordination towards common goals.
