I worked at TeleCommunication Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Office in Tampa had good people and was easy to work in. I would go back to work in that office.

    Cons

Low pay for work done. Office in Georgia played favorites, and there was not a good atmosphere between management and employees.

    Advice to Management

Treat all employees the same and with respect.

I worked at TeleCommunication Systems as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Good compensation, excellent benefits, above-average management

    Cons

No more downsides for working for TCS than for working with any other employer. I personally worked as a deployed contractor. Perhaps they could have provided a little more leave for family time, but they are very flexible about approving leave.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps allow up the the maximum 34-35 days per year allowed for contractors to receive tax exempt status. It would not have to all be paid, and it is a would be a huge morale booster.
