Pros

Good compensation and benefits, excellent reputation in the telecommunications industry. In sales, the product training was excellent. Upper level management led by example. CEO is approachable, a leader and a visionary. As a salesperson, if you have B2B experience, enjoy heavy cold calling and have a "Hunter's mentality", this would be a great company for you.

Company gives you enough time to "ramp up" on your industry knowledge. Sales quotas and goals are reasonable.

Cons

Almost all of the sales training is focused on outside sales, not on the telephone sales staff. If you are hired for a sales position and have no former industry knowledge, be prepared to invest many evening hours of your personal time, to ramp up on your knowledge.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a solid "mentoring program" for Telesales department. Insure that unsolicited leads get spread out to include distribution to new hires as well as sales representatives with more tenure.

    The telecom industry has been going through a very difficult time in the last decade. TelePacific has managed to stay ahead of the competition in terms of service levels and customer service.

    Cons

    High turn over, everchanging comp plan.
