I have been working at TeleTech part-time (less than a year)

Pros

Working here makes me feel confident because I dont have someone looking over my shoulder. I feel in control and able to do a better job. There is also opportunity to add new skills very quickly if you do your very best in your current skill. The shifts are short and sweet which is great for me.

Cons

Technical and system issues but its not horrible nor frequent unless its your computer or internet.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

A better pay rate, benefits and an opportunity to work full time if you need it.

    Loved my project, flexible hours and It's a good place to build experience.

    Cons

    They do not give raises.

    Pros

    working from home
    able to swap schedules with co-workers

    Cons

    call center qa--only concerned abt call time
    pay is low
    hours and schedule keep changing
    Training does not prepare you for calls or systems--thrown right into the line of fire.They call it OJT.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Employees want to have consistency and higher pay rate to remain competitive. Also, customers have no idea representatives are rewarded based on average call time and survey. It doesn't seem to matter how effectively agents assist the customers. It is not possible to talk to a customer for only four minutes and accurately solve their problems with typing detailed notes.
