Pros
They were generally understanding of requests for time off and accommodating of schedule constraints. Bonuses were generous when they were available.
Cons
Goals would change but this wasn't communicated to employees until after the fact, during coaching. There was a lack of follow-up on customer escalations by management. There was a harshly punitive attitude towards employees.
Advice to Senior Management
Respect your employees and offer them a basic level of trust. Provide opportunities to advance. Communicate clearly to your employees.
