I worked at Tellabs as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

The company is great to work for. Management always was available to help. They had different executives come and speak with interns on a weekly basis about the company and their roles.

    Cons

As an intern I can not think of anything negative to say about this company it was truly a great experience.

I worked at Tellabs as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

Pays a livable wage. Managers were a hundred+ miles away so you can work stress free. But it wouldn't matter if they were there anyway.

    Cons

Layoffs with inconsistent work. Always worried you're not going to have a job in a few months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put pressure on lower management to remove mediocre technicians.
