I worked at Temple-Inland

Pros

Company culture was one of encouraging individual growth and support.

Cons

The business decision to consolidate multiple, un-related lines of business proved to be more challenging and resulted in the firm's financial issues. I believe the company was divested and sold.

I worked at Temple-Inland full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Had a great experience learning and growing in the internal audit department and learning a manufacturing setting. Company was lean and experienced.

    Cons

The company was acquired by a larger competitor so it is unknown what could have been if TIN would have acquired others, was able to exit unprofitable business lines, and avoid the acquisition.
