Quality conscientious company

Quality Engineer (Former Employee) Seward, NE

ProsLots of opportunity to take on challenges. The staffing is lean but they are serious about continuous improvement. They implement programs such as lean in the entire facility, are cost conscious and encourage personal growth (education). In the facility in which I worked, Tenneco offers high quality, American made Walker exhaust products to the automotive industry and is adamant about keeping it's good reputation. Tenneco's corporate culture emphasizes integrity, teamwork, execution, accountability, innovation and balance, all which are traits that I consider important for making career decisions. Also, the Walker exhausts facility is located in a small town with a family-like atmosphere. The people I worked with were excellent to work with. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of their team.

ConsThe automotive industry is in an economic contraction.
