Work Life Balance does not apply!

PS Partner (Current Employee)
Dallas, TX

I have been working at Teradata

ProsIntelligent and dedicate work force
Incredible core database product
Employee dedication despite management structire

ConsGrind you to dust work mentality
Senior Management still thinks like NCR in the 80's
Confused Product management plan sponsors competitors over internal solutions
Compensation lags the industry severely even though management tries to suggest it is in line
Moral is sinking extremely fast in many areas
Product Quality is no longer a top priority, stock price rules the day every day

Advice to Senior ManagementIgnore wall street and refocus on creating a top notch product across all applications. Create an integrated core offering that can deliver all aspects of a business and stop being the biggest opponent to your own applications. Either push them as the key to growth moving forward or spin them off and focus solely on Data Warehousing.
